Most of my working life has been spent in I.T. I have had various technical and sales roles over the years and was excited to have the opportunity in 2004 to create an I.T. Business with two friends - it was an incredible experience for me.
It certainly wasn’t plain sailing at all - we experienced lots of problems along the way. Lots of sleepless nights, arguments and stress, but together we resolved the challenges that we faced.
I had the privilege of working with some amazing people within our company; we won contracts to supply our services to very large UK customers; and won awards for ‘Service Excellence’
The business was acquired in 2019 and continues to do well.
My idea to become a coach was born out of the experiences I had running my last business.
Having coaches myself during the difficult times was instrumental for me changing my ‘inner-game’ and looking at my life and work in a different way.
I started my coach training whilst still running my last business. I applied what I learned to lots of areas in the business. This had a huge improvement not only for myself but also for the business. My training included Business and Life Coaching.
After exiting my last business following the acquisition, I created ‘New Perspectives Executive Coaching’.
I love working with my clients. They bring many different challenges to each coaching session. Most of my clients are small business owners covering different markets.
I coach face to face from my office or online.
I live in the beautiful Conwy Valley in North Wales, with my partner. I have two wonderful children who inspire me every day.
I have always been interested in technology and still am today - with a particular interest in electric vehicles, space travel, and the development of the internet.
In my spare time you’ll find me learning to speak Welsh (I’m getting there slowly!); swimming in the sea most weekends; listening to talks at the local Astronomy club; and learning Wing Chun - Kung Fu.
I'm a certified Coach and have the following accreditations:
I subscribe to the ICF code of ethics (details of which are available upon request).
